Rose-pink bazaars, a blue city and a golden fort
The shape of the trip
Seven days across the classic Rajasthan of forts, palaces and dunes — the Pink City, the Blue City and the Golden City, finishing under the desert stars.
Three cities, three colours, one unhurried route. We start in pink Jaipur, cross to the blue lanes of Jodhpur and end in golden Jaisalmer, where a night in a dune camp closes the journey.
The driving days are long, so we build in stops worth making — a stepwell, a village chai stall, a temple by the road — and we keep the sightseeing days light.

The dune camp was the highlight — proper beds, a campfire, and a sky full of stars. Jaisalmer Fort felt like stepping into another century.
